Continuity is confirmed every six months so the record shows that the welder has continued to use the process within the relevant range.
WeldSure uses a three-year external requalification cycle for steel qualifications and keeps the six-month continuity confirmations visible inside that period.
Aluminium qualifications use a two-year external requalification cycle, with continuity still confirmed every six months.
A qualification proves only the permitted range around the variables used in the test. WeldSure displays the derived range rather than allowing it to be typed wider.
A single-layer test does not demonstrate multi-layer technique.
The multi-layer test covers both layer techniques.
The exact range depends on the selected standard and the test record.
BS EN ISO 9606-1:2017, BS EN ISO 9606-2:2004, BS EN ISO 15614-1:2017+A1:2019 and BS EN ISO 15614-2:2025. Contract and application-standard requirements still need to be recorded and followed.

WeldSure calculations support the record review; they do not replace the controlled standard, application standard, contract requirements or approval by competent welding coordination personnel.
